TAMPA, FLORIDA, DECEMBER 2, 2024 — Cadence Rx is pleased to announce the arrival of Mike Geis to our executive leadership team. As Head of Operations and Implementation, Mike brings 25 years of experience leading technology teams and an extensive background in Information Technology (IT), Infrastructure, and Integration, including 10 years focused on Pharmacy Benefit Management and Workers’ Compensation.
As Head of Operations and Implementation for Cadence Rx, Mike will lead Operations and Implementation with strategy and vision. This strategic leadership shift strengthens our operations while supporting our continued growth. Mike will report directly to Cadence Rx CEO and President Artemis Emslie.

Before Cadence Rx, Geis served as senior director of information technology and divisional chief information officer at myMatrixx, an Express Scripts Company, and a nationwide pharmacy benefit manager specializing in the workers’ compensation industry. During his tenure, he was responsible for the worker’s compensation platform and program integration and managed service providers and various software vendors.
Mike holds an MBA from the University of South Florida and certifications as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Additionally, Mike was awarded as Tampa Bay Business Journal’s CIO of the Year in 2016.
